Partnerships

We belong to a number of partnerships which allow for many opportunities for professional support and challenge; thus enabling our school community to be self reflective and constantly seeking to improve. Through these partnerships we engage in joint CPD, procurement and self evaluation for staff at all levels. .

East Cleveland Co-operative Learning Trust

The school converted to foundation status on 31st August 2013 as a full member of the East Cleveland Co-operative Learning Trust: consisting of a number of schools across East Cleveland.

Belonging to the trust allows for:

  • Collaborative working on school improvement priorities.
  • Joint Procurement of services.
  • Shared CPD utilising expertise across partnership schools.
Guisborough Extended Learning

GEL was initially formed to allow for joint working opportunities for schools in Guisborough. By working more closely together we can support the learning community of Guisborough as well as develop our own school practice. The group includes all primary schools and their feeder secondary school.

Belonging to the trust allows for:

  • Leadership support and accountability.
  • Joint procurement for CPD.
  • Consistent and accurate assessment of standards through joint moderation.
  • Opportunities for teachers to work in other schools for their own CPD needs.
  • Extended learning opportunities for the local community after school and during the holidays,.
Inspire to Learn

I2L is a wonderful, innovative centre for CPD run by the local authority. They provide high quality, training opportunities which are relevant for the needs of our school community. Alongside training they also provide progress and attainment moderation and teacher collaboration events throughout the year.
